The metal packing is a tower packing made from carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum alloy. It has the characteristics of thin wall, heat resistance, big void volume, big flux, small resistance, high separating efficiency, particularly applicable to vacuum refining tower, and processing of the heat-sensitive,decomposable,easy-for-polymerizing, easy-for-carbanizing materials. Therefore it is widely used as packing in the packing towers of such industries as petrochemical, chemical fertilizer, environmental protection etc.
Metal packings can be divided into bulkload packings and standard packings. The bulkload packings include intalox saddle ring, step ring, pall ring, eight-four internal curved ring, thread-net ripple packing,conjugate ring etc. The standard filers include orifice ripple packing, net-plate ripple packing etc.
